Formula bridge
Latavis in the spreadsheet you already trust.
The Latavis Formula Bridge is an Excel add-in of =LATAVIS.* custom functions that pull live platform outputs — with their verification level, confidence cap, and provenance — into your own models. The same functions are browsable with a live evaluator in the formula catalog (sign-in required).
Custom functions
What it does
Every function returns the platform's honesty envelope, not just a value.
Your model stays yours
The add-in augments the spreadsheet you already have — =LATAVIS.VALUE("PC", "PD", "techco_dl") drops a live engine output into a cell. It never replaces your workbook.
The honesty envelope travels with the number
Companion functions expose the verification level and confidence cap (LEVEL, PROVENANCE) for any value. A synthetic or unvalidated (L0) result returns a labeled string — never a bare number that looks live.
No freshness fabrication
When a payload carries no as-of date, the add-in says so. It will not imply a timestamp it was never given.
Authenticated with your own key
The add-in calls the platform with your personal API key, so everything it can see is exactly what your account can see.
Setup
Install (sideload)
The add-in is version 0.1.0 and is distributed as a sideloaded Office add-in — it is not an AppSource listing. Download the manifest and add it through Excel's Insert → Add-ins → Upload My Add-in(or your organization's centralized deployment):
- Download manifest.xml (points Excel at the hosted bundle on this domain).
- In Excel: Insert → Add-ins → Upload My Add-in → select the manifest.
- Set your API key in the task pane, then use
=LATAVIS.VALUE(…)— the function list ships in functions.json.
Prefer to evaluate formulas without Excel? The catalog's live evaluator returns the identical envelope in the browser.
